The GOCS origin begins with two crazy friends who shared the same vision—to spread flavoured smiles.

Founded in 2025, GOCS was established when co-founders Shemil Farooque and Mohammed Aslin united with a shared desire for one thing — the authentic taste of home.

During Shemil’s travels across India and Aslin’s years abroad, they realized that nothing matched the genuine Kerala flavors they grew up with. Driven by this nostalgia, they set out to rediscover those lost tastes.

Their search took them deep into rural Kerala, where they uncovered forgotten recipes, traditional techniques, and flavors preserved through generations.
Inspired by these discoveries, they created GOCS — God’s Own Country Savoury — a brand dedicated to bringing these authentic flavors back to people, wherever they may be.
